    We did a day trip here from Cooktown & loved this area. The colored sands beach was beautiful. This small camping area is for those who like a bit of an adventure. Nice tent sites close to & overlooking the beach/mangroves. Camp fires are allowed & there are toilets but no power - BYO water. I would loved to have stayed at Elim Beach for a couple of nights.

    great peaceful place to camp,and if its a clear morning sunrise,about 8.ooam the colored sands colors really stand out in the morning sun,

    Beautiful spot by the water. Nice shade so doing the solar shuffle to keep batteries topped up. Put it on your TDL

    It's a paradise! For just 10$ per person we got an amazing beach just for ourselves with the colour sands in front. Just be careful driving there if you don't have a 4WD.
